Pashmina, from the Persian word for wool, is popularly known in the west as cashmere wool, from the old spelling for Kashmir. The fine wool comes from the undercoat of the Himalayan mountain sheep which is raised by semi-nomadic herders. The fiber is exceptionally absorbent and it dyes very easily and deeply. Pashmina is unsurpassed for its luxurious rarity, incomparable softness, warmth and durability.
From basic to unique, all of our DnKashmir® Pashminas are high quality Cashmere and Cashmere blends. We offer twelve different types of Pashminas (Classic, 2-in-1, Antique Jacquard, Beaded Jacquard, Border Jacquard, Double Color Jacquard, Embroidered #1, Embroidered #2, Jacquard, Paisley Antique Jacquard, Striped Border Jacquard and Thin), each represented below.
